Dr. Mirza Wahaj is the Vice President of Engineering at Redline, leading the engineering team responsible for the design and development of Redline’s fixed broadband wireless and 3GPP based 4G and 5G solutions. Dr. Wahaj is a highly experienced veteran of the electronics and telecommunications industry and brings to Redline 42 years of experience as an engineer and professor in this space. Dr. Wahaj has spent the last 19 years growing Redline’s global training and certification program.

Prior to joining Redline in 2002, Dr. Wahaj was a professor at the Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology in Delhi, and later joined the former telecom giant Nortel Networks as a manager in the OC-192 division.

Dr. Wahaj earned his Ph.D. in Digital Communications from the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi (IIT Delhi), where he focused on random sampling designs for detecting radar signals and two-dimensional Wiener Filtering. He also holds a M.Eng. in Communications and Radar Engineering from IIT Delhi, as well as a B.Eng. in Electronics and Communications from the Delhi College of Engineering at Delhi University. Dr. Wahaj is a Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario. In Delhi (IIT Delhi), where he focused on random sampling designs for detecting radar signals and two-dimensional Wiener Filtering. He also holds a M.Eng. in Communications and Radar Engineering from IIT Delhi, as well as a B.Eng. in Electronics and Communications from the Delhi College of Engineering at Delhi University.
