The world’s leading energy operator member association is touching down in Texas, and Redline will be right in the mix! Check out our experts discussing the latest industry topics at ENTELEC Conference & Expo in Houston on April 26 to 28.
ENTELEC, the energy telecommunications and electrical association, is holding its annual members event in the Lonestar state. As part of a long tradition of educational experiences for petroleum, natural gas, pipeline and electric utility professionals, Redline will participate in two different workshops for sharing information and best practices across the energy industry. First, Redline VP Jan Manimendre will deliver a keynote presentation entitled Industrial 5G Solutions Transformation. As a thought leader in the realm of mission-critical wireless connectivity, Jan will draw on over 30 years of telecommunications experience to weigh in on the future of cloud, big data, and artificial intelligence in communications infrastructure. The session will focus on application development and how it can address ICT framework challenges for a new future of network topologies.
Next, Redline technical solutions manager Alan DesJardins will speak as part of a panel on the topic of IoT for industrial equipment. Entitled A Deeper Dive Into Implementing IIoT Networks into Legacy SCADA Systems, the workshop will cover the preparation, operation, and integration of new IIoT networks into existing SCADA systems. Alan will draw on his robust network system knowledge to weigh in on the hardware, software, and even financial approach to successful launch an IIoT platform in an industrial setting.
