Business Development Manager - LTE

Redline’s LTE Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying markets best suited for Redlines’ offering, creating awareness in those target markets, and most importantly, finding and closing opportunities in this space. The right candidate must have a proven track record of effectively hunting and closing new business, have existing business contacts relevant to Redline’s LTE business, and have effective presentation skills. In addition to the right contacts and an understanding of the market, the applicant will have a strong technical understanding of the entire LTE ecosystem.

Key duties/responsibilities:

  • Clearly identify and communicate key LTE markets Redline should pursue
  • Utilize you existing network to engage with prospective customers and find new opportunities
  • Assist marketing with crafting suitable presentations
  • Present Redline’s LTE capabilities to key customers and at key events
  • Build your own sales pipeline and keep accurate records in our corporate CRM
  • Develop and support those opportunities clients from inception and post implementation
  • Achieve your assigned quota
  • As an LTE SME, as needed, support other Redline sales staff to pursue LTE opportunities
  • Generally, evangelize and ensure Redline is recognized globally as a leader in our target markets
  • Identify, Develop and Manage ecosystems partner’s relationships
  • Identify, Develop and Manage Outbound OEM relationships
  • Effectively balance business development activities against driving existing opportunities to effectively grow your sales pipeline
  • Develop major account plans and establish individual sales strategies with each major account
  • Coordination with leadership team, sales team, and required RDL company departments to ensure that sales opportunities close in a timely fashion
  • Develop a sufficiently strong understanding of Redlines solutions from a technical perspective is a must, combined with the ability to act as a consultant prior to bringing in Redlines Sales Support teams
  • Provide feedback to leadership team on industry trends, key customer and strategic partner activities

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in an engineering or similar field
  • Minimum 2 year’s technical experience working with multiple aspects of LTE networks
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in direct sales or a business development role working directly with end customers
  • Able to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Toronto location preferred but will consider other locations
